Shackerstone Working Day...

Hi everyone. Today was spent at Market Bosworth helping the team with the demolition of the Portakabin there. The building came a few years ago with hopes that one day it would be restored but, allas, with not enough volunteers available to take on such a task its condition has deteriorated badly in the last 12 months. Therefore, it was decided to demolish it. I was at Market Bosworth from around 10:30am until about 5:30pm tonight before heading for home. The JCB and the large team of helpers did a sterling job and by the time I left the first main section (with all internal bits removed and gutted) was ripped apart. The worst is now over and the portakabin will be gone in time to stand engines on that ground for the upcoming Rail Ale festival at the end of the month. The site will be so much improved without the building. A very worthwhile day. Cheers guys, Sam...
